I joined Dr. Parker’s lab as an undergraduate while I was working towards my bachelor’s degree in Forensic Chemistry. My research was focused on investigating the proteomic differences between pigmented and non-pigmented hair coming from an individual. Specifically, I was interested in identifying instances of differential protein expression and any variability in the detection GVPs between the two hair phenotypes. After graduating from UC Davis, I have transitioned my studies to Oregon State University where I have joined a PhD program in Biochemistry and Biophysics.
